Online Counselling

Online Counselling

Online counselling is the new way to seek help and support in today's fast-paced world. Say goodbye to long waiting times, expensive therapy sessions, and the hassle of commuting to appointments. With online counselling, you can receive professional and personalised therapy from the comfort of your own home.

Here are just a few of the many benefits of online counselling:

  1. Convenient access: Online counselling is a lot more convenient which means you can schedule appointments at a time that works best for you. No more waiting for weeks or months to see a therapist or having to miss work or important events.
  2. Cost-effective: Online counselling is often more affordable than traditional therapy because you do not have additional costs that come with commuting like parking etc
  3. Flexibility: With online counselling, you can participate from anywhere with a reliable internet connection. This makes it easier for people who live in remote areas, have mobility challenges, or have demanding work schedules.
  4. Anonymity: Many people feel more comfortable opening up to a therapist online, as it provides a greater sense of anonymity and privacy.
  5. Comfort: You can receive therapy in the comfort of your own home, wearing comfortable clothes, and surrounded by familiar surroundings. This can help you feel more relaxed and open to the therapy process.

If you're feeling overwhelmed, struggling with anxiety, depression, or any other emotional challenges, online counselling can help. With its many benefits, online counselling is an excellent choice for anyone seeking professional and effective therapy. So why wait? Start your journey to healing and happiness today!

Guidelines for online / phone counselling

online counselling

  • Make sure you are in comfortable space where you can hear.
  • Use earphones where possible to help with background noise and to give you more privacy.
  • If you are using your phone, make sure to turn off notifications before your session to avoid distractions.
  • Have a glass water and tissues available.
  • If you live with others, make sure they have clear instructions not to disturb you.
  • If possible use a laptop/tablet as opposed to your phone so as not to get distracted.
  • Ensure your internet / phone connection is running well.
  • If you experience issues with you internet connection please let me know and we can organise to do the session by phone instead.
  • If you are finding it diffcult to find privacy in your home, go to a quiet place that is private e.g. in your car or garage. As long as you feel you can talk freely and you have a good internet or phone connection then therapy can happen.
